Snow haul in Sierra Nevada

AFTER a bumper seasonal haul, the Sierra Nevada ski resort is now set to stay open until May 2.

Ski authority Cetursa confirmed that the vast majority of pistes are in operation and encouraged ski lovers to make the most of the healthy slopes.

A repeat performance of last year’s fine snowfall may even see the resort push its closure date back to mid May.

From April 19 adult day passes are 20.50 euros while children can take to the mountains for 12.50 euros.

The pistes are open from 10am until 4pm.
