Wheeley green in Spain

MOTORING giant Honda has begun testing its environmentally friendly electric scooter in Spain.

The Japanese firm will test 18 zero carbon emitting EV-Neoโ€™s for a year, starting this month.

The research with Barcelona Council will determine the viability of replacing petrol scooters with electric powered ones.

The battery powered EV-Neo has a range of 34 kilometres at 30 km/h and takes three and a half hours to charge.
