GIBRALTAR is set to receive a Royal visit from the Earl and Countess of Wessex as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations this year.
Edward and Sophie will visit the Rock during 2012 – as well as the West Indies – although exact dates are yet to be finalised.
The Queen has only visited Gibraltar once, in 1954, although the Rock has welcomed several other Royal’s over the years including Prince Charles and Princess Diana during their honeymoon.
