A LITHUANIAN man has killed his mother by throwing her off a fourth floor balcony in Almeria.
The 28-year-old had been receiving treatment for mental problems and was asleep when police found him, having swallowed a high quantity of drugs.
The events occurred late on Tuesday morning in Aguadulce in Roquetas de Mar.
Evidence suggests the man strangled his mother before throwing her from the balcony on the Plaza Apolo.
The victim was 53 years old.
