Who’s a lucky boy?

PHIL Harris proved that Friday the 13th is not unlucky for everyone – claiming his maiden Forum victory at the Double Par Medal competition with a net 70.

With Harris claiming top spot, Richard Swaine shot the round of the day with a gross one-under-par score, but the effect of the Spanish slope adjusting system that saw him playing off minus one, meant that he had to settle for second with a net 71.

Clive Filkins (73) was third, Ian Postles (74) fourth, George Gibson (75) fifth and Peter Tinsley (75) sixth, with Richard Swaine also claiming the longest drive prize on the seventh hole.
