MORE than €4 million has been invested to expand the water system that washes the streets in the capital city.
Waste management company Emaya’s president, Neus Truyol, sa
id the firm is growing its fleet of cleaning trucks from 12 to 60, with 48 more environmentally-friendly, quieter vehicles.
The move comes as it emerged that some of Palma’s neighbourhoods haven’t been washed in more than a year.
