A PROTEST to save San Pedro’s historical trees starts tonight at 5.45pm.
Workers started pulling down the friendly giants in one of San Pedro’s prettiest areas this morning to remove the town’s oldest palm trees.
A group on Facebook are now planning a protest asking for people to get involved to stop the destruction.
More than 66 people are expected at the Plaza de la Iglesia but the group stresses ‘the more the merrier’.
