Three expats arrested in Spain’s Malaga after police seize over 60kg of hashish and 40kg of marijuana

ARREST: Police arrested a man on Friday morning

THREE expats have been arrested after police seized over 60kg of hashish and more than 40kg of marijuana in Malaga.

Police also confiscated €2,100, scales, a packaging machine and 12 mobile phones during the raid in the municipality of Velez-Malaga.

Drugs were being distributed across France, Belgium and the Netherlands from the house.

Police investigations found the gang to be operating in Velez-Malaga, Mijas and Marbella. 

The officers were able to make the arrests after intercepting a vehicle carrying 15kg of marijuana buds. 

The three citizens, two Dutch and one Belgian, have been sent to prison, pending the beginning of their trial.
