THE Olive Press has published the first episode of its new News Round-up show.

Every fortnight Olive Press journalists break down the biggest news stories of the last two weeks across Andalucia and Spain.

Episode 1 features a discussion of a long-running investigation into shady expat estate agent Nadine Dijkman.

The Dutch expat was denounced by a German couple after failing to return €289,000 they had paid for a Costa del Sol holiday home.

The story featured on the last Olive Press front page (Issue 328) under the headline ‘Homing in!’.

Also in Episode 1 of the News Round-up show is a discussion of the aftermath of the collapse of Thomas Cook.

Following continuous online coverage of Britain’s oldest travel agent’s demise, the Olive Press looked into the future of the package holiday in Issue 328 (Is the package holiday ‘screwed’?, pg 6).
