A BRITISH man has been shot dead on the Costa del Sol.
The 39-year-old was killed at around 3:15pm in Riviera del Sol in Mijas today.
An Olive Press source heard several shots before police rushed to the scene.
At least 10 police and forensics officers were spotted attending a corpse covered in a white sheet.
The man was reportedly shot in his black BMW in a suspected gangland hit.
He is believed to have been shot several times in the chest and died at the scene.
A suspected getaway car was seen rushing from the scene.
