THE identity of the 57-year-old man gunned down inside a cosmetic surgery clinic on the Costa del Sol has been revealed.
Dr Alexander Aslani, the founder and owner of the specialist Cirumed Clinic in Marbella, has been named locally as the victim of Wednesday evening’s horror shooting.
Officers were called to the clinic, located in the Finca Panorama urbanisation, shortly before 6pm following reports of gunfire from inside the building.
Paramedics rushed to the scene but could not stabilise Dr Aslani, who died at the scene.
He is understood to have suffered multiple bullet wounds to the head.

No arrests have been made, with an investigation underway to identify his killers.
According to early reports, at least two masked gunmen entered the clinic and opened fire before fleeing the scene on a motorbike.
However, official sources are yet to provide extra information on the circumstances of the shooting.
Dr Aslani was a well-respected plastic surgeon with more than three decades of experience, specialising in advanced procedures including Brazilian butt lifts.
He previously headed the plastic surgery departments at Quiron hospitals in Malaga and Marbella before setting up his own clinic.
