A BRITISH Olympic champion is facing manslaughter charges following a fatal car crash in Valencia province last week.
Two-time gold medallist Scott Brash, 40, was driving an Audi Q3 in Oliva at around 7.45pm on Thursday when his vehicle collided with a motorcycle.
The rider, a 20-year-old Spaniard, died at the scene, while Brash and his passenger, PSG manager Luis Enrique’s daughter Sira Martinez, escaped unhurt.

The decorated equestrian, from Peebles in Scotland, is believed to have attempted a U-turn on a stretch of the N-322 road where such manoeuvres are prohibited, according to police.
He is now under investigation on suspicion of reckless homicide, authorities said.
He tested negative for both drugs and alcohol, according to media reports.
Brash is rumoured to be in a relationship with Martinez, 26, who is also a professional equestrian and has competed internationally.
She is the second of Luis Enrique’s three children after her older brother Pacho. The family’s youngest daughter, Xana, tragically died of a rare form of bone cancer in 2019, aged just nine.

Martinez has yet to comment publicly on the fatal crash.
Brash, widely regarded as one of the greatest showjumpers of his generation, won Olympic gold medals at London 2012 and Paris 2024.
He also made sporting history in 2015 by becoming the first rider to complete the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, winning three of the world’s most prestigious Grand Prix events consecutively.
