• A creative entry from last year´s race |
BUDDING sailors are hoping to keep their heads above water at this year´s cardboard boat race in Gibraltar.
In previous years the starting line has seen dragon boats, cartoon cars and pirate ships among the creative entries, all hoping to get across the 1000 metre course without getting wet!
This year´s race will take place on Saturday 28 August at 1.30pm and proceeds will go to charity.
