Need for speed

The high speed AVE train between Madrid and Barcelona is now even faster. Taking things up a gear the train has increased its speed to 310km/h cutting the journey time from 2 hours 43 minutes to 2 hours 30.

  1. A “saving” of 13 minutes equals 8% of time saved.
    Does it really make ANY difference?… At what cost?
    Why not get our priorities in line with taxpayers’ needs.
    How about a THIRD airport near Zapatero’s home town??!?!

  2. Adios airports when it comes to me heading to Madrid from Barcelona. I felt like a Queen riding the rails with real leg room, clean bathrooms, and nice, as in really polite personnel when I rode AVE.
