Stamp up

The cost of sending a 20g letter within Spain has gone up from 35 to 36 cents in 2012 – but the price is still ten cents below the European average.

  1. BoS,
I could’nt disagree more. I have lived in northern Galicia/Ortigueria and behind the S/Nevadas/Guadix and for me the Spanish Post has always been what the Spanish should use as a benchmark in quality service.

3 days for post to the UK and 4 days from the UK. Never lost a letter and in Guadix very helpful staff who I knew by name, always ready to check packages by their very good tracking system.

Also postwomen in Guadix who we used to meet in our local watering hole for a drink – have you tried personal contact with your postmen/women?
