A MASS breastfeeding event is to take place in Gibraltar to raise awareness of the benefits of suckling infants.
As part of the Big Latch On, Gibraltar, along with other communities across the world, will welcome thousands of women to take part in the event on August 3 and 4.
Breastfeeding has been shown to reduce the risk of future health problems for both mother and baby including breast cancer.
Registration will start at Cafe Solo, Casemates at 10am.
