A TWO-YEAR-OLD British boy who drowned in Mijas has been named.

The boy – named locally as Theo Lamb, the child of Duncan Lamb and Alison Pallett, died in the El Coto urbanisation on Calle Azor in Mijas.

Though no one saw the drowning take place, the child’s parents and police suspect the boy was walking along a wall that separated his family’s home from the one next door, when he lost his balance and fell into the neighbour’s pool.

As soon as the father realised, he called 112 and tried to save his son, but police confirmed the child’s death upon arrival.

The neighbours report that they did not see or hear anything take place.
