Struth! Bagged a bargain there mate!

THE so-called Great white shark, Greg Norman, has sunk his teeth into Europe’s number one golf course.

The Australian golfer has acquired the exclusive Valderama golf course, in Sotogrande, in a bargain deal rumoured to be worth 35 million euros.

His company The Stripe Group is said to have got the “cheap” price for the course – which held the Ryder Cup in 1997 – after impresario Jaime Ortiz Patiño was advised to sell it by Santander bank.

It is also set to be the location for the upcoming Andalucía Valderama Masters which will take place from October 28 to 31.
