STREET cleaners in Santa Fe, Granada, have found the remains of a new born baby in a waste disposal unit.
The Guardia Civil is searching through the records of all hospitals and medical centres in the province after an autopsy revealed the baby was alive when it was abandoned.
Officials, who said the baby died from either exposure or asphyxiation, want to question the mother on murder charges.
