SEARCH parties are still hunting for over 40 Africans feared dead after their ramshackle dinghy capsized between Tangier and Tarifa.
Rescue crews have already found the bodies of 22 people, including eight babies, in the Straits of Gibraltar.
“If one day we could remove the sea between Africa and the Canary Islands, and between Morocco and Spain, we would find a floor full of dead bodies,” said a lieutenant of the Guardia Civil and former rescue boat member.
