Bikini Ban

AFTER a series of rowdy visits from teenage students, Salou has gone the other way.

The Catalan resort has implemented a ban on shirtless and bikini-clad tourists in its streets.
Anyone caught will face an on-the-spot fine of 300 euros.

The holiday hotspot became the focus of attention in March after its infamous Saloufest saw thousands of rowdy English students boozing in the streets.

Councillor Alberto de Hierro commented: “One shouldn’t be allowed to walk the streets or enter public buildings in unseemly apparel. It gives the city a low-class look.”
