The Nobel Prize winner will be a guest speaker at the Third World Conference on Climate Change and Wine, which is being held in Marbella for the first time.
Organized by The Wine Academy of Spain, in conjunction with one of the foremost authorities on climate change research, the event aims to raise awareness of the impact climate change is having on the global wine industry.
In particular, the conference will focus on ways to ease the problem, adjusting to the new climate and publicizing a business model for the wine industry that is more compatible with the environment.
The two-day event will be held at the Palacio de Congresos de Marbella on April 13-14, 2011.
