Naked gym comes to Spain

A SPANISH gym has become the first in the world to cater to nudists offering a naked work out.

Taking an original approach to beating the recession Easy Gym in Arrigorriaga in the Basque region is promoting the practice of keeping fit in your birthday suit to cash in on a niche market.

Owner Merche Laseca explained: “I’m not a nudist myself, though I have no problem with it. But this initiative is about the money.”

From May, the gym will operate every Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday – exclusively for the uninhibited.

And a teacher has already been in touch to offer naked yoga classes.
