Brit arrested following Spanish machete attack

A BRITISH man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of three fellow Brits in Tenerife.

Police said the man attacked the trio with a machete and a large knife at around 11pm on Monday following an earlier argument.

The victims – women aged 43 and 47 and a 47-year-old man – were treated in hospital for cuts to their neck, arms and face.

The incident happened on the terrace of Malibu Park bar in Adeje.

The man fled the scene but was later arrested in his hotel room.
