Investment call for Spanish rail network

A TRAIN crash that left the driver in a serious condition and 10 others injured has led the Spanish Transport Minister to acknowledge the need for greater investment in the region.

The incident in Barcelona was the third in as many weeks on the Catalan network, prompting Ana Pastor to admit that 5.75 billion euros would need to be spent on improvements.
