SPAIN’S Matarromera wine has been chosen to represent Spain at the United Nations official reception in New York.
More than 600 people from 192 countries will attend the reception, hosted by Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo.
Founded 26 years ago, Matarromera now sells its products in more than 70 countries worldwide.
It has also been recognised by American magazine Wine & Spirits as one of the top 100 wineries in the world.
All ambassadors at the reception will receive a bottle of the wine as a gift.
