BARCELONA captain Xavi has selected his all star British dream-team.
The Spanish midfielder recently broke Ryan Giggs’ record for the most Champions League appearances and he includes the Welsh-man in his all time XI.
Three other Manchester United legends are included in the line-up, with Paul Scholes joining Giggs in a midfield five, Wayne Rooney leading the line and Rio Ferdinand shoring up the defence.
Southampton new-boy Fraser Forster gets the nod in goal following some spectacular Champions League performances against Barcelona for former club Celtic.
Xavi also gives a special mention to former Newcastle and Tottenham midfielder Paul Gascoigne, saying he was an ‘inspiration’ for him growing up.
