A CACHE of arms and explosives has been found by police in Mijas.
The haul of deadly weapons, which includes grenades and mortars, was discovered in the boot of a BMW parked in a garage in the Islandia de Riviera urbanisation.
The building was evacuated, but residents will be able to return to their homes soon, according to sources.
Bomb disposal experts (Tedax) took away the car and opened the boot, where they found the stash.
Police are examining the car to see if they can trace the owner of the arms.
