Man dies in head-on collision after driving wrong way down the motorway in Mijas

A MAN has died after driving the wrong way down the A7.

Driving straight into oncoming traffic the 33-year-old driver died after a head-on collision with another vehicle.

The other driver, a 37-year-old man, was taken to Hospital Costa del Sol with serious but not critical injuries.

The accident occurred around midnight last night.

It is currently unknown whether the man drove the wrong way intentionally or by accident.
