Spain investigates 301 people with links to Islamist terrorist groups

SPAIN’s High Court is currently investigating 301 people with suspected links to Jihadist groups.

The Audiencia Nacional has 160 open suspected terrorist cases, with crimes investigated ranging from recruitment, membership and criminal association. SPain

Arrests have risen fourfold since 2013 with open cases up 60%.

Spain is on a high alert level following last week’s Paris attacks.

On Wednesday, Sevilla is hosting a meeting of counter-terrorism experts from 39 countries to discuss the threat from Islamic extremists.
