Spain’s construction industry increases healthily

THE national construction industry grew 3.1% year-to-year in May.

That figure represents the third largest year-to-year increase of all countries in the EU, which suffered a general decline of 1.1% in the same period.

Only Sweden and Romania’s construction industry grew by more.

Both nations’ construction recorded remarkable growth, 14.4% and 7.5%, respectively.
