New €10 million shopping centre coming to Fuengirola and Mijas

Retail Tourists shopping

WORK on a new €10 million shopping centre will begin on the border between Mijas and Fuengirola next summer.

The project has been privately funded and will bring at least 200 new jobs when completed.

The 21,000 square metre plot is shared between Fuengirola and Mijas and is situated on the historic Camping Fuengirola site.

Work will not begin until next summer as both town halls have to be in strict agreement before going forward.

The Junta will also have to approve the project.
