Vancouver, British Columbia

It’s a nearby city on top of a snowy mountain, and one of the best places to go skiing or snowboarding.

The city has some of the best scenery. Take a stroll through Stanley Park to immerse yourself in the various gardens that are there. There are also plenty of trails for you to go hiking on.

The nightlife in Vancouver is quite amazing. It’s filled with numerous casinos that are open 24/7, and nightclubs that are usually open to 2 or 3 in the morning. If you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community, you’ll want to take part and join the vast amount of parties and parades in this city.

Toronto, Ontario

Another major city that is on the other side of Canada is Toronto. This major city is the capital of Ontario, and filled with things to do. Toronto is quite a busy city. There are lots of shops everywhere, and numerous new restaurants popping up every now and then. You’ll also want to visit the CN tower, especially at night, to take in the beautiful view.

The Royal Ontario Museum, the Toronto Zoo and the Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada are all popular places for the entire family. If you’re a fan of beer, you’ll find some of the best brews at the Steam Whistle Brewery.

Toronto is also a great place for outdoor activities. Queen Park is situated in downtown Toronto, and a great place to go for a stroll. The weather in this city is quite beautiful, so you’ll also want to spend tons of time at the beaches during the summer. Centre Island Beach and Hanlan’s Point Beach are both wonderful choices.

If you have time, make the drive to Niagara Falls. The waterfall is simply stunning, and you’ll easily fall in love with the charming town around the area. You can take boat tours, gamble at the casino and even shop at the many luxury stores that are there. It’s important to note that the only casinos in Toronto are at Niagara Falls.

Montreal, Quebec

Canadians in Montreal, Quebec speak both English and French. It’s definitely an interesting city that has a lot of history to it. You’ll find lots of information on Quebec’s war on English in museums in the city. With that said, the city has a lot more to offer.

Much like in other parts of Canada, there’s a strong emphasis on nature and wildlife. If you love immersing yourself in nature, you’re definitely going to want to take a stroll through the Montreal Botanical Gardens. It’s a beautiful oasis that is filled with numerous exhibits. Mount Royal is also an amazing park to visit.

In terms of restaurants, you’ll find some great selections in Montreal as well. Joe Beef once sat on the 81st place in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. If you’ve heard about the deliciousness of poutine, which is fries smothered with gravy and various toppings like cheese, you’ll be happy to learn that poutine was invented in Quebec. You’ll find lots of stalls that make wonderful variations of this snack.

When visiting Montreal with the family, don’t forget to stop at one of the many museums the city has to offer. Space for Life, the Montreal Science Center, McCord Museum, the Musee d’art contemporain de Montreal and the Pointe-a-Calliere Museum are among some of the most popular attractions around.
