Deep underwater earthquake strikes off the coast of southern Spain

AN earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale rocked the coast of southern Spain late on Wednesday night. 

Its epicentre was off the coast in the Gulf of Cadiz at a depth of around 51 km.

According to Instituto Geografico Nacional, it is the sixth and largest tremor in the area in the last month.
