MOVE over Ryanair and Easyjet there is a new kid in town.

Primera Air has launched its new schedule with its first flights from Birmingham to Malaga taking off this week.

Anastasija Visnakova, Chief Commercial Officer said: “It was a pleasure to welcome our passengers on the inaugural service to Malaga. The range of destinations, both European and transatlantic, at fantastic prices creates more choice for passengers travelling from Birmingham Airport.

And Midlanders have more reasons to celebrate with the company planning on expanding its routes from the UK’s second city.

Currently, the airline serves 97 destinations in 23 countries with a staff of 300.
