ONE person has been hospitalised after a gas explosion on the Costa del Sol.
The incident happened at a house in Mijas Costa, where the unidentified person was rushed to the Costa del Sol Hospital.
A call was made at 2:45pm yesterday to report the incident, before the Mijas Fire Department arrived on the scene.
Doors, windows and furniture were all damaged at the property in Calle Virgen de la Paz.
Fire sources indicated that the leaky pipe of a gas cylinder allowed gas to build up in the house, before the blast.
