Yellow weather warning in Andalucia as rain and thunder expected for Spain’s Costa del Sol

Andalucia is on yellow weather warning for rain and thunder today.

Stormy showers have been predicted to hit the Costa del Sol later this afternoon.

It comes as Spain’s weather agency AEMET warned of the approach of a DANA (Isolated Depression of High Levels) – or ‘cold drop.’

This ‘cold drop’ is expected to see temperatures fall to a minimum of 22C.

Forecasts have also predicted ‘significant rainfall’ of up to 20 millimeters of rain an hour to hit the province over the next couple of days.

This wet weather front is expected to have cleared as of Wednesday.
