THREE people have been arrested after police found 40kgs of marijuana at a countryside house near Cadiz.
The alleged perpetrators, aged 50, 39 and 22, were detained as part of Operation ‘Pudeca’, where the authorities found drugs, €9,400 in cash and a revolver.
Police had been alerted to a suspicious building in La Puebla, which had ‘agricultural tools’ and a ‘strong smell of marijuana’, and began an operation in the area.
In a search, police found several bags, scales and plants .
Also, about €9,400 was discovered in cash, some in 500-euro bill, and police also seized about 19kgs of tobacco.
