AN elderly woman has died at a polling station at the CEIP Madrigal and Padial polling station in Granada.
The woman, thought to be above the age of 80, died of natural causes before exercising her right to vote in Spain’s General Election.
It is reported that she fainted and that she died before the emergency services arrived at the scene.
The Socialist Party with acting Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez won the highest number of seats but fell short of an absolute majority on Sunday.
