Orange weather warning issued for Costa Blanca as heavy rain, hail and severe storms set to batter tourist hotspots

AN orange weather warning has been issued for Costa Blanca as heavy rain, hail and sever storms are expected to hit tourist hotspots.

Temperatures across the coastal area are dropping today ahead of tomorrow’s storm which experts predict could bring up to 40mm of rain in one hour.

This large volume of rain, alongside the expected thunder and potential hail, have led Aemet to issue an orange weather warning.

The orange alert, which warns of significant risk, will last until 10pm tomorrow.
