Spanish music superstar Rosalia to give free concert in Sevilla this weekend

ROSALIA will headline Netflix’s major event in Sevilla and perform on a floating platform in the middle of the Guadalquivir this Saturday.

Sevilla is hosting the premiere of the second season of Berlin, a spin-off of the hit series Money Heist, more popular know as Casa De Papel.

And with the premiere comes camera flashes, speculation and excitement across the city.

One of the biggest questions in recent days surrounded the mysterious floating platform installed in the middle of the Guadalquivir River.

Now, it seems the rumours finally have a name.

According to reports first published by El Economista, and later echoed by several Spanish media outlets and social media accounts, Rosalia will take to the stage in Sevilla this Saturday, May 9.

The concert is expected to become one of the city’s standout spring events of the year.

Social media had already been spreading rumours with several theories that the Catalan superstar would be the surprise act linked to the premiere.

The superstar will not be performing, and is expected to be accompanied by the Sevilla Philharmonic Orchestra, creating a spectacular open-air concert setting right on the river.

Additionally Netflix has not yet officially confirmed the artist’s appearance for their show, the concert is scheduled to begin at 8pm and will be completely free to attend.

Nevertheless tickets have already been sold out, BUT this doesn’t mean you will miss the rising star because the public will still be able to watch the performance from the riverbanks surrounding the Guadalquivir.

The concert will be on a high quality with music, lights and at the moment one of Spain’s biggest artists performing in the heart of Sevilla.

The city is preparing it’s for a night that could rival some of its biggest cultural events of the year.
