WATCH: Barcelona fans pelt Real Madrid team bus with stones before title-deciding El Clasico – only to accidentally target own team

BARCELONA fans were caught on camera hurling stones at Real Madrid’s team bus ahead of a fiery title-deciding El Clasico – before mistakenly turning their fury on their own side’s coach too.

Viral footage showed both buses damaged after driving through large crowds of supporters outside Barcelona’s Camp Nou stadium on Sunday night.

Real Madrid’s white coach appeared with a cracked window, while Barcelona’s bus was left dented after objects were thrown in tense scenes before kick-off.

It is not the first time FC Barcelona fans have mistakenly targeted their own side.

During the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg, supporters accidentally hit Barcelona’s team bus after confusing it with the vehicle carrying Paris Saint-Germain FC.

Just weeks later, objects were again thrown at a visiting bus ahead of a European clash against Atletico de Madrid.

Despite the trouble outside the ground, Barcelona delivered on the pitch with a convincing 2-0 win over rivals Real Madrid CF to secure their 28th league title — and their 11th since 2005.

The Catalans controlled much of the match, with early goals from Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres sealing the victory.
