FOR many people living on the Costa del Sol, chronic joint pain has become an accepted part of life.
A knee that makes the stairs a challenge, a shoulder that has not been right for years or a back that has been troubling them for years.
And in many cases, the advice from a GP or specialist and a scan result has been roughly the same: you may need surgery.
Dr. Arvin Yarollahi has spent nearly two decades hearing that story from patients, and offering them a different path.

This first, Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy, known as PRP, uses a small sample of the patient’s own blood, which is processed to concentrate growth factors and platelets, and is injected directly into the affected joint or tendon.
Because it is derived entirely from the patient’s own biology, the risk of adverse reaction is extremely low, and the clinical evidence for its use in knee osteoarthritis, shoulder problems, tennis elbow and plantar fasciitis on the feet is well established.
The clinic also offers Cell-Free Signalling Therapy and Cellular Therapy, progressively advanced orthobiologic treatments designed for patients with more complex issues or those who have not responded fully to PRP.
