A PAIR of British men have been arrested in Mallorca after attacking their partners in separate incidents at resort hotels within the space of a single night.
Both assaults took place in the early hours of Sunday June 7 in the municipality of Sant Llorenç, on Mallorca’s east coast.
The first call came from Sa Coma as police were alerted to a loud argument at a hotel room.
When officers arrived they found a woman with bloodstains and visible injuries.
She had already managed to escape the room and raise the alarm herself.
Other guests came to her aid and reception called the Policia Local. Some of her personal belongings had also been damaged.
A 51-year-old British man was arrested.
Roughly an hour later, police in the same municipality were called to S’Illot, a few kilometres away.
Officers found a 38-year-old woman on the beach outside a hotel. She was visibly distressed, and her injuries were consistent with physical assault.
The severity of her condition was serious enough that she was taken to Manacor Hospital for assessment. A 37-year-old British man was arrested.
