Best beaches for activities

Visitors looking for more than sunbathing will find plenty of action along Marbella’s coast.
Puerto Banus and Venus-Bajadilla beaches are known for water sports, paddleboarding, jet skiing and beach volleyball.
They offer equipment hire and organised activities throughout the summer months.

Dog-friendly
Pet owners are also catered for, with designated dog-friendly areas allowing visitors to enjoy the coastline without leaving their four-legged companions behind.
The Ventura del Mar and El Pinillo beaches are the top spots to take your furry friend for a beach day out with special dog showers and water fountains.

Nudist-friendly areas
For those seeking a more liberated beach experience, Marbella also has quieter, more discreet stretches where you can let it all hang out.
Cabopino Beach is the best-known example and offers a more natural, relaxed setting away from the busier resort areas.
With 19 certified beaches and eight Blue Flag awards for 2026, Marbella’s coastline offers a mix of quality, sustainability and variety that keeps it among Spain’s leading summer beach destinations.
