AN elderly woman has been evacuated to hospital after inhaling smoke from a house fire in Marbella.
The 87-year-old was transferred from the burning property to Costa de Sol hospital after emergency services were alerted of a two-storey house fire on Calle Del Alce, Marbella at around 2am on Friday.
Marbella firefighters, local and national police, and paramedics rushed to the scene to extinguish the flame and attend to the woman.
After an initial examination, it was clear the woman had suffered smoke inhalation due to the buildup of flames, and was transferred to hospital for further medical treatment.
No other injuries or updates on the victim’s condition have been reported, and the investigation into the causes of the fire are still ongoing.
