THREE people have been arrested in Malaga following the horrifying discovery of a woman’s body inside a well.
The grim find was made by Guardia Civil officers around midday on Wednesday in Rincon de la Victoria, east of Malaga, near a rural track winding through farmland.
Investigators believe the victim was 35-year-old mother-of-one Cristina CC, who was reported missing on March 31.
A poster published by missing persons association SOS Desaparecidos was updated on Wednesday night with the caption: ‘Found dead.’

Cristina’s former partner, a 49-year-old man, is among those arrested, the Guardia Civil said.
The other two suspects are believed to have helped him conceal her body, according to sources close to the investigation.
Detectives are treating the case as a possible incident of gender violence.
A childhood friend of Cristina told Malaga Hoy: “She was a happy girl, and very kind.
“We took different paths in life, but I loved her very much.
“I opened Facebook, saw her missing-person photo and read ‘found dead’… I was left in shock.”

Police sources said the investigation is being handled under the strictest secrecy, with a post-mortem expected on Thursday to establish the cause of death.
It is not yet known whether the body showed any signs of violence.
A resident of Malaga’s Ciudad Jardin, Cristina was devoted to her young daughter, friends said.
The pair bore such a striking resemblance that they were almost indistinguishable in some photographs.
Sources close to the investigation said there had been no previous reports of domestic abuse involving Cristina and her former partner, and neither was listed on Spain’s national gender violence monitoring system.
The missing persons poster circulated after Cristina disappeared described her as born in 1990, 1.55 metres tall and weighing 45kg, with a slim build, brown eyes and black hair.
