LEGENDARY Spanish singer Julio Iglesias has put his lavish €4-million mansion in northern Spain up for sale just one year after buying it.
The sprawling 16,000-square-metre estate in Piñor, Galicia, includes a three-storey villa, an artificial lake, a private library, a swimming pool and even a dog park.
The 82-year-old star bought the property in mid-2025 in search of ‘peace and quiet,’ he told Spanish magazine ¡Hola! – but has reportedly never even visited it since closing the deal.

The property is being marketed by luxury estate agency Lucas Fox, which also handled its original purchase.
It was previously owned by former Ourense mayor Manuel Cabezas and his wife, Ada Arroyo.
The mansion sits behind high walls and is surrounded by woodland and traditional Galician country houses, offering the privacy Iglesias was seeking when he bought it.
Its main residence covers 1,637 square metres across three floors, connected by a stone staircase and private lift.
Inside are seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, alongside a large master suite, spacious dining room and fully equipped professional kitchen.
There is also a library, gym, wine cellar and relaxation area with a fireplace, as well as a garage accessed by a rear ramp.
The estate comes with two additional buildings, one of which has been converted into guest or staff accommodation with two en-suite bedrooms, a living room and kitchen.
The second sits beside the swimming pool and serves as an entertainment area, complete with a jacuzzi and an integrated Italian kitchen.

Outside, the grounds include gardens, woodland, a traditional Galician barn, firewood storage, a dog park and the artificial lake that is one of the property’s standout features.
The purchase was also deeply personal for Iglesias, whose father, doctor Julio Iglesias Puga, was born in nearby Ourense province.
The singer spent summers in Galicia during his childhood and has long spoken publicly about his affection for the region and his father’s roots there.
The sale, however, does not mark the end of Iglesias’ property interests in Spain.
He remains the owner of Las Cuatro Lunas, a vast estate near Ojen in Malaga province which covers around 450 hectares and has been estimated to be worth as much as €150 million.
The Andalucian property is where the singer and his family traditionally spend part of their summer holidays, enjoying views across the surrounding mountains and towards the sea.
The sale comes amid a turbulent year for Iglesias, who has faced allegations of sexual assault and human trafficking from two former female employees.
The women, who worked at the singer’s properties in the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas in 2021, accused him of sexual abuse, harassment and abusive working conditions.
The allegations emerged following a three-year investigation by Spanish outlet elDiario.es and US broadcaster Univision.

Iglesias has strongly denied the allegations, saying he had never ‘abused, coerced or disrespected any woman’ and describing the accusations as false.
Spanish prosecutors have since shelved the complaint, ruling that Spain’s National Court did not have jurisdiction because the alleged offences took place outside Spanish territory.
The decision did not amount to a finding on the truth of the allegations, and prosecutors said legal action could potentially be pursued in the Dominican Republic or Bahamas.
