AN AUTOPSY has confirmed that an American tourist died from drowning this week in a Malaga holiday rental home swimming pool.
The 45-year-old man was found lifeless in the pool in the El Palo area of Malaga.
Investigations found no indications that anybody else was involved in the man’s death.

A call to emergency services was received shortly before 1pm with a report that a man had found an unconscious person in the pool.
The Policia Nacional, Policia Local and health staff were sent to the scene.
Attempts to resuscitate the American came to nothing.
Preliminary signs were that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, which was confirmed by the autopsy.
It was one of three swimming pool deaths within 24 hours in Malaga province.
On Sunday, the body of 58-year-old Polish tourist was found in a finca pool in Competa.
He was pulled out of the water before paramedics arrived but they were unable to revive him.
In El Palo on Monday, an Austrian holidaymaker in his early twenties was found dead in a villa pool at around 8am.
