Germany’s most wanted drug lord and deadly MMA fighter is arrested on the Costa del Sol

The towering boxer and MMA fighter was picked up after five years on the run.

GERMANY’S most wanted drug trafficker has been captured in Malaga after a five-year manhunt.

The fugitive, a towering expert in boxing and mixed martial arts, was intercepted on August 24 while a passenger in his brother’s car.

He was wanted on a European Arrest Warrant for drug trafficking and leading a criminal organisation.

The network utilised a Spanish warehouse to load large quantities of drugs into lorries bound for Germany via France.

To evade law enforcement, the crime boss changed his phone number every two weeks and swapped identities every three months.

He even travelled to Turkey to complete a cybersecurity course, learning how to hide his digital footprint across operating systems and social media.

Spanish authorities, working alongside Germany’s BKA federal investigation agency, caught his trail in 2025.

After tracking his brother, officers conducted surveillance across multiple Spanish provinces before finally cornering the pair in Andalucia.

The martial artist is now behind bars after appearing before the Audiencia Nacional.
